What is Tailorbuilders?
Tailorbuilders is a home improvement and services platform designed to make it easier to describe a project and find the right kind of professional. Explore construction, roofing, locksmith, gates and fences, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, and painting in one place.
How do I get started?
Tell us what needs doing and enter your ZIP code. We will help you organize the service, scope, and timeframe into a project brief. In this preview, you can save and download your brief; requests are not yet sent to contractors.
Which areas does Tailorbuilders cover?
Tailorbuilders is being built for homeowners and businesses across the United States. You can prepare a project brief for any U.S. location. Live contractor coverage and availability will be confirmed when matching becomes available.
Can I plan more than one kind of project?
Yes. Choose the service that best describes your main project and explain any related work in the description. For a renovation involving multiple trades, construction and renovation is a useful starting point.
Does submitting a brief book a contractor?
No. Creating a project brief does not book a visit, confirm a price, or enter you into a contract. In this preview, the brief stays in your browser until you choose to download it. You should agree on scope, price, and timing directly with the professional you hire.
